Our January presentation will be by Dr. Asa Randall, a Southeastern Archaeologist specializing in Archaic cultures. Prior to his investigations of Archaic shell mound building communities along the St. Johns River, Asa was involved in research at Dust Cave, Alabama and Stallings Island, Georgia. He earned his BA at Boston University and his MA and PhD at the University of Florida. Asa is currently a research archaeologist for the Laboratory of Southeastern Archaeology at UF.
